ToBe-Heartsafe

Every week in the UK, around 12 young people (under the age of 35) die suddenly from a previously undiagnosed heart condition. 80% of these deaths will occur with no prior symptoms.

ToBe-Heartsafe

ToBe-Heartsafe is a not-for-profit organisation offering cardiac screenings and training to individuals, schools and sports-organisations.

Their aim is to help prevent the premature and sudden deaths of young people who should still be alive.

THEIR MISSION

Every day, strong and healthy young people die suddenly from heart conditions they didn’t know they had.

Under the age of 35, many deaths are registered as Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome – SADS

ToBe-Heartsafe's mission is to provide cardiac screening, CPR training and defibrillators for schools, sports clubs and institutions.

Through the generosity of those who can afford to pay, they will provide these life-saving services for young people unable to fund them for themselves.

This course is available to every single school nationwide and teaches students the essentials of First Aid

We believe that every school child should learn basic first aid skills but this is difficult and costly to schools. Our answer is to offer a video online course to all school students in the UK where they can not only learn first aid skills but also learn how to use online training courses which will help improve their ICT skills.

On the course, various first aid subjects are covered to encourage children to help someone in need but to also ensure that they keep themselves safe at all time and make sure that they get help.
